Joe Daley of West Bend passed away May 27th, 2005,
after the original group of memorial trees were planted,
and his family joined us in planting a tree in his memory
at the memorial service.
Joe had polio and later heart disease and arthritis. He
was in sales all his life and his wife jokingly says that he could sell
anything to anyone. He was a fun guy who liked to socialize. He will be
remembered as a good shot and the one who usually got his deer and
in record time. He hadn’t hunted out at the lodge in recent years due
to poor health, but did make it out for the 2004 hunt and bagged one
last deer.
